Tom & his Jump Cats, is a versatile eight-piece band
that plays classic Big
Band style, West Coast Jump Blues, Blues, Jump Jive, Boogie Woogie,
Rockabilly, and 40s
& 50s Rhythm & Blues. The band has been in existence since 1992 and has released
four critically acclaimed CD’s. |

Flattop
Tom & his Jump Cats are a group of energetic, talented musicians
dedicated to keeping traditional Swing & Blues alive.
Lead singer, Flattop Tom, is
also a professional swing dancer. He prides
himself with keeping tempos right for swing dancers. Flattop
Tom also performs live dance exhibitions on most shows. Where VCR
players are available, Flattop Tom’s extensive collection of
vintage swing-dance videos provides additional visual stimuli, excitement,
and dance inspiration for its audiences.

a growing mailing list, currently numbered over 2000.

The band’s first album release, "Jumping
Blues For Your Dancing Shoes," received critical acclaim and airplay
on local radio stations. The second release, "Rockin’ and Jumpin’ The
Blues," propelled the band to
national airplay and worldwide travel.
Their third release, "Swing Dance Party," had National
and European distribution and
had received
considerable airplay and praise from
critics.
Their fourth and most recent release, Don't Cheat the Feet, is by
far, the bands best and most diverse CD to date. It includes 19 tunes, 9
of which are originals. Blues and swing dance fans are already singing
it's praises.
As well as
headlining their own shows, Flattop Tom & his Jump Cats
have performed in shows with other top music artists,
such as Big Bad Voo Doo Daddy, Royal Crown Revue, Stompy Jones, William
Clarke, Charlie Musselwhite, Rod Piazza, Big Sandy, Big Jay McNeely, Dick Dale, Jan and Dean and

and in Europe such as, House of Blues, BB King's, The Derby, Pasadena
